My name is Monica Huston and I started Irvine Family Counseling with a vision:
To see a world where individuals prosper, unhindered by past or present conflicts; to see a world where couples triumph over hardship, becoming the strongest unit of society; and to see a world where families come together, unseparated by trials or tribulations.
Therefore, it has become my mission to treat each client like my only client- providing them my fullest, undivided attention- and to treat each therapy session like it is my last one- delivering as much as I possibly can in one hour in order that: the world may be transformed one person and one hour at a time.
I recognized I couldn’t make this impact alone, so the team of therapists I hired follow this motto with me. WIth each session we conduct, we build towards a world where mental health stops no individual, couple or family from reaching their greatest potential.
Blending traditional and Modern therapy
We offer a psychoanalytic approach that goes beyond surface-level understanding, diving deep into the unconscious forces shaping our thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Our mission is to help individuals uncover the root causes of emotional struggles, gain profound insight into underlying patterns, and facilitate meaningful transformation through self-awareness and healing.
Our team of experienced psychoanalysts and psychotherapists is trained in the rich tradition of psychoanalysis, focusing on how early experiences, unconscious conflicts, and repressed emotions continue to influence current patterns of thought and behavior. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, we guide clients to explore past experiences, uncover hidden aspects of the self, and address unresolved conflicts that may hinder emotional well-being.
In psychoanalysis, we believe that the mind is dynamic and that symptoms like anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties often stem from unconscious processes. By offering a safe, reflective space, we empower clients to explore their inner world without judgment, allowing repressed emotions to surface and internal conflicts to resolve.
Whether you're seeking self-understanding, healing from past trauma, or working to improve your relationships, we are here to support you in navigating the complexities of the unconscious mind and unlocking your fullest potential. At [Your Practice Name], we are honored to walk alongside you in your journey of self-discovery and transformation.
